Day 1 – Welcome / Ardmore, OK

Welcome to your Moostash Joe Tour! Meet us at one of our many convenient pick-up points and head south! This evening we arrive for our overnight stay in Ardmore, OK and enjoy an evening meal together in the fun atmosphere of Two Frogs Grill! (D)

Day 2 – Blue Bonnet Cafe / San Antonio, TX

Temperatures continue to rise today as we continue south! Lunch (and dessert) will be at the Blue Bonnet Cafe, a local favorite spot in the quaint community of Marble Falls. Then, continue through beautiful Texas Hill Country where we’ll all enjoy a wine tasting from one of their many renowned wineries. Early this evening we arrive in the heart of San Antonio and check-in for our two-night stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel right along the famed Riverwalk! During Christmastime, the Riverwalk glows with thousands of its famous holiday lights hanging from the trees above and is one of the most popular Christmastime attractions in the south! Riverwalk Cruise tickets will be provided upon arrival to use at your leisure. (B, L, D)

Day 3 – San Antonio / The Alamo

A day full of fun activities and sightseeing awaits! This morning we meet our local guide and head over the nearby San Fernando Cathedral, which is the oldest, continuously functioning religious community in the State of Texas. We’ll also spend some time at Historic Market Square – a must for any visitor. Lunch will be at the revolving dining room atop the Tower of America’s, providing excellent 360 degree birds-eye views of San Antonio. We then meet our local step-on guide to take us around San Antonio this afternoon, featuring stops at the Mission San Jose and The Alamo! Wander this historic, must-see destination and discover why the Battle of the Alamo was such a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. This evening, relax and enjoy the company of your fellow travelers during Drury’s great “Kickback” – where complimentary food and drinks are available, and another opportunity to head out for a night under the lights! (B, L, D)

Day 4 – LBJ Presidential Museum / Waco, Texas

This morning we make our way back north, stopping in Austin, TX to visit the LBJ Presidential Museum to learn about the 36th president of the United States. Later today, enjoy free time for lunch and a bit of time to shop at Waco’s Magnolia Market at the Silos, home to the hit HGTV show “Fixer Upper!” Then we’ll take the renowned “Fixer-Upper” themed tour of Waco! We’ll visit Jimmy Don Holmes Iron Designs, including a driving tour of some of Chip and Joanna’s fixed-up houses. Then, continue onto the Dallas metro where we’ll be overnight and another chance to enjoy Drury’s great “Kickback.” (B, D)

Day 5 – Fort Worth Stockyards / Oklahoma City National Memorial

After a leisurely morning we make our way to Fort Worth and the Stockyards. Our own step-on tour guide will be waiting for us for one-of-a-kind commentary on its past, present and future. After your short tour, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy free time at the Stockyards and to witness the Cattle Drive! The Old West comes to life every day at 11:30 a.m., where real Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns down the block. Continue north this afternoon and into Oklahoma City to visit the inspirational Oklahoma City National Memorial which honors the victims, survivors, rescuers and all who were affected by the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. Tonight is free for you to enjoy our great location and the vibrant Bricktown district at your leisure. (B)

Day 6 – Return Home

Spend one last day with your newly made friends and make your way home with great memories and photos from your San Antonio Christmas! Say goodbye to your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points this evening. (B)
