October 12 – Depart Omaha / Arrive in Los Angeles
Today we depart together from Omaha’s Eppley Airfield to Los Angeles. Upon arrival we transfer to our overnight accommodations with the remainder of the evening to spend at your leisure.
October 13 – Embark the Norwegian Bliss
This morning we’ll do a bit of sightseeing before transferring to the Port of Los Angeles to board the spectacular Norwegian Bliss! Spend the rest of the day exploring your home for the next fifteen nights! Cruise departs port at 4:00 p.m. (D)
October 14 – Cruising at Sea
Sit back, relax and enjoy the many amenities of the Norwegian Bliss cruising down the beautiful Pacific! (B, L, D)
October 15 – Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Welcome to the jewel of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo San Lucas. Cabo is known for its beautiful beaches, world-class sport fishing and its signature landmark, El Arco (The Arch), a rock formation at the tip of “Land’s End.” (B, L, D)
October 16 – Cruising at Sea
Sunbathe, read a book, have a drink, enjoy one of the ships many specialty restaurants or do whatever you like while cruising today! (B, L, D)
October 17 – Acapulco, Mexico
As one of Mexico’s oldest coastal tourist destinations, Acapulco has much to offer! Shop, swim or simply take a siesta on the beach. But be sure not to miss the legendary La Quebrada cliff divers. (B, L, D)
October 18 – Cruising at Sea
Put your feet up and relax during another day at sea! (B, L, D)
October 19 – Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
As a port city constructed in 1984, travelers to Puerto Quetzal often venture out to Antigua, a 90-minute trek to where 17th-century colonial facades beckons and Guatemalan history comes alive. (B, L, D)
October 20 – Cruising at Sea
Enjoy the wealth of things to do aboard the Norwegian Bliss today at sea! (B, L, D)
October 21 – Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera), Costa Rica
Just a few miles from Puerto Caldera is Puntarenas, where stunning beaches, an array of wildlife, and streets lined with restaurants, bars and cafes await. Carara National Park is a must for nature lovers and features ancestral trees and secondary forests, perfect for spotting wildlife such as crocodiles and 400-pls species of birds, including colorful scarlet macaws. October 22 – Cruising at Sea
Our last day cruising before arriving at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal! (B, L, D)
October 23 – Panama City, Panama
A vibrant metropolis, historic city and your getaway to tropical adventures – Panama City has it all and it’s waiting for you to discover. Founded in 1519, Panama City is the oldest continuously occupied European settlement on the Americas’ Pacific Coast. Lose yourself in the region’s dramatic past while touring historic sites intertwined among the buzzing cosmopolitan atmosphere. (B, L, D)
October 24 – Daylight Transit of the Panama Canal
Today, experience one of the world’s best short cuts! Journey 40 miles through the Panama Canal for an absolutely unforgettable experience. Witness first-hand this engineering marvel that has changed travel and the transport of goods worldwide. (B, L, D)
October 25 – Cartagena, Colombia
The old walled city of Cartagena reflects a turbulent history of conquistadors and pirates. Choose to climb “las murallas” for an unforgettable view of the harbor. Or shop for emeralds and leather goods along the cobblestone streets of this enchanting city. (B, L, D)
October 26 – Cruising at Sea
Continue cruising today in the warm waters of the Caribbean. (B, L, D)
October 27 – Falmouth, Jamaica
With white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and blue skies, it’s easy to relax in Jamaica. Aside from breathtaking beaches, Falmouth is also known for its 19th century Georgian architecture. The most popular dish on the island is cooked with jerk. Jerk, native to Jamaica, is a zesty mixture of spices that’s used as a rub to flavor meats, seafood and shellfish. (B, L, D)
October 28 – Cruising at Sea
Spend your last day aboard the Norwegian Bliss, enjoying it’s wealth of things to do while cruising at sea! (B, L, D)
October 29 – Disembark / Depart Miami / Arrive in Omaha
Enjoy one last breakfast on board before disembarking in Miami. Board your transfer to Miami International Airport for our return flight to Omaha. Upon arrival, say goodbye to your fellow cruisers with great memories of your unforgettable Panama Canal Cruise! (B)
