April 21 – Travel Day / Elkhart, IN
Meet your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver at one of our many convenient pick-up points this morning and head east! Our travels take us through Iowa, Illinois and to Elkhart, IN where we’ll be overnight.
April 22 – Harrisburg, PA
Today, continue east through Ohio and the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside to Harrisburg, PA and enjoy an evening meal together. (B, D)
April 23 – Amish Farmlands Tour / Philadelphia, PA
This morning we head for the heart of Pennsylvania Amish Country – Lancaster – where we’ll meet our local, step-on guide to take us on a tour of the Pennsylvania Amish Farmlands and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant, serving up traditional Pennsylvania Dutch recipes. This afternoon finds us in Philadelphia to meet our local step-on guide for a guided city tour of the city commonly known as “The City of Brotherly Love.” Later this evening, our day ends in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for our five night stay just outside of New York City. April 24 – NYC Touring / Broadway Show
Good morning and welcome to the “Big Apple!” A day full of fun activities await! We’ll meet our local step-on guide as we make our way around Manhattan, making our first stop at for a Backstage Tour at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts – home to New York’s most prominent performing groups. This afternoon we’ll also visit Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This evening is our Broadway Show, Aladdin! (B, L)
April 25 – NYC Touring
Back in the city this morning, we’ll visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art with free time to spend in and around Central Park. We’ll enjoy lunch together in Times Square with free time to get a souvenir or simply take in the bright lights. Later, spend some time in renowned Grand Central Terminal and enjoy some shopping time at Macy’s and along 34th Street. (B, L)
April 26 – NYC Touring / Broadway Show
Another full day awaits as we meet our local, step-on guide who will take us on a Driving Tour through Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown and Little Italy. Then we board the ferry and head out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, with plenty of time to explore each and take the perfect photos. We then hop on a subway, the easiest way to get around, for Times Square. Your evening meal is on your own to try one of the areas many top-rated restaurants before our next Broadway Show, Wicked! April 27 – NYC Touring
Our last day in the city is a great one! This morning starts out in the Financial District, featuring Wall Street, “The Bull”, Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel. Then its time for a birds-eye view of the city at One World Observatory atop One World Trade Center! Most of our afternoon finds us at the 9/11 Museum and 9/11 Memorial Park – a must for any visitor. Our time in the New York area comes to and end this evening, but not without an evening celebration dinner! (B, D)
April 28 – Pennsylvania / Cleveland, OH
Today we begin to make our way westward through the beautiful rolling hills of Pennsylvania. We’ll make a stop to grab a bite to eat on our own before arriving in the Cleveland suburbs early this evening with the rest of the day to spend at your leisure. (B)
April 29 – South Bend Chocolate Factory / Quad Cities
Early this afternoon we stretch our legs during our tour of the South Bend Chocolate Factory! Here, learn all about chocolate and its origins from the planning, enrobing and more, including a test sample at the end. Then, enjoy one last evening meal together tonight at our overnight accommodations in the Quad Cities. (B, D)
April 30 – Return Home
Spend one last day reminiscing with your fellow travelers and newly made friends about your adventure to the “Big Apple!” Enjoy some time to dine and shop in Iowa’s Amana Colonies before saying goodbye to your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points this evening.
