December 1 – Travel Day / Elkhart, IN

Meet your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver at one of our many convenient pick-up points this morning and head east! Our travels take us through Iowa, Illinois and to Elkhart, IN where we’ll be overnight.

December 2 – Harrisburg, PA

Today, continue east through Ohio and the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside to Harrisburg, PA, where we’ll also enjoy an evening meal together. (B, D)

December 3 – Pennsylvania Amish Country / Philadelphia, PA

This morning we take the short drive to Lancaster, PA to meet our local step-on guide, of Mennonite or Amish heritage, for a guided tour of Pennsylvania Amish Country. Lancaster County is known for its abundance of Mennonite and Amish as well as being the home of the oldest existing Amish settlement in the world! After our tour we enjoy a delicious authentic Pennsylvania Dutch lunch at the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord. This afternoon finds us in Philadelphia to meet our local step-on guide for a guided city tour of the city commonly known as “The City of Brotherly Love.” Later this evening, our day ends in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for our five-night stay just outside of New York City. December 4 – NYC Touring / Broadway Show

Good morning and welcome to the “Big Apple!” A day full of fun activities await! We’ll meet our local step-on guide as we make our way around Manhattan, making our first stop for our Backstage Tour at the famed Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts – home to New York’s most prominent performing groups. We’ll enjoy lunch together before an afternoon visiting Central Park, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and ending up in Times Square. This evening you’ll have time to enjoy the bright lights and one of New York’s fabulous restaurants on your own before our Broadway Show, Wicked! (B, L)

December 5 – NYC Touring

Back in the city, our morning includes a visit to the acclaimed Metropolitan Museum or Art. Also known as “the Met”, it is the largest art museum in the United States and third most visited in the world. After lunch together, we continue our sightseeing in NYC at Grand Central Terminal, the United Nations to Harlem and concluding with free time at Macy’s, one of the largest stores in the world – covering an entire city block. December 6 – NYC Touring / Broadway Show

Another full day in New York City starts out with a driving tour through Greenwich Village and SoHo. Then we board our ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, with plenty of time to explore each and to take the perfect photos. Back in Lower Manhattan we hop on a subway, the easiest way to get around, for the Theatre District for another chance to enjoy an evening meal at one of the cities top-rated restaurants before taking our seats for our next Broadway Show, the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! (B, L)

December 7 – NYC Touring

Our last day in the city is one you won’t soon forget. We’ll first head to the Financial District to check out Wall Street, “The Bull”, Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel. This afternoon finds us atop One World Observatory at One World Trade Center and to admire and walk through the Oculus at the World Trade Center. The rest of the afternoon is spent at the 9/11 Museum and 9/11 Memorial Park – a must for any visitor.  Our time in the New York area comes to an end this evening, but not without an evening celebration dinner! December 8 – Pennsylvania / Cleveland, OH

Today we begin to make our way westward through the beautiful rolling hills of Pennsylvania. We’ll make a stop to grab a bite to eat on our own before arriving in the Cleveland suburbs early this evening with the rest of the day to spend at your leisure. (B)

December 9 – South Bend Chocolate Factory / Quad Cities

Early this afternoon we stretch our legs during our tour of the South Bend Chocolate factory! Here, learn all about chocolate and its origins from the planning, enrobing and more, including a test sample at the end. Then, enjoy one last evening meal together tonight at our overnight accommodations in the Quad Cities. (B, D)

December 10 – Return Home

Spend one last day reminiscing with your fellow travelers and newly made friends about your New York City Christmas Spectacular! Enjoy some time to dine and shop in Iowa’s Amana Colonies before saying goodbye to your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points this evening. (B)
