December 3 – Depart Omaha / Sikeston, MO
Meet us today at one of our many convenient pick-up points as we head south to Sikeston, MO, where we’ll be overnight. Get to you know your fellow cruise-goers during a delicious evening meal tonight at Lambert’s Cafe – the “Home of Throwed Rolls.” (D)
December 4 – New Orleans, LA
Continue south this morning towards New Orleans, stopping for breaks along the way. Upon arrival, check-in to our centralized accommodations at the Drury Inn & Suites – just four blocks from the French Quarter! Relax and enjoy Drury’s great “Kickback” – where complimentary food and drinks are available. Tonight you have the opportunity to head to the French Quarter and experience the rowdiness of a Saturday night on Bourbon Street! (B, D)
December 5 – New Orleans / Embark the Norwegian Getaway
This morning we meet our local step-on tour guide for a guided city tour of “The Big Easy!” See popular spots such as the French Quarter, Jackson Square and St. Louis Cemetery as you discuss the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and their rebuilding efforts. After your tour, stop in the French Market to enjoy some time for lunch and shopping on your own before we head to the Port of New Orleans to embark the Norwegian Getaway! Spend the rest of your day exploring your home for the next seven nights. Cruise departs port at 4:00 p.m. (B, D)
December 6 – Cruising at Sea
Today you are able to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the Norwegian Getaway while at sea! Enjoy the warmth and sunshine of the Caribbean and the wealth of things to do on-board. (B, L, D)
December 7 – Cozumel, Mexico
The island of Cozumel off the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula continues to be known for its fantastic fishing, snorkeling and diving opportunities. And despite the growth of tourism in recent years, the island and its only town, San Miguel, retain much of their original warmth and charm. (B, L, D)
December 8 – Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Beautiful and unspoiled, Roatan is a peaceful, eco-tourists dream, just 30 miles off the coast of Honduras. Teeming with marine life and home to some of the best pillar coral in the Caribbean, the pristine Honduran Reef is a diver’s paradise. And the beauty of Tabyana Beach is always a sight to see. December 9 – Harvest Caye, Belize
With diverse ecology consisting of jungles, rain forests, swamps and coral reefs, you’re sure to find solace and adventure in Harvest Caye’s stunning landscape. (B, L, D)
December 10 – Costa Maya, Mexico
This coastal paradise in the Yucatan features stunning beaches with soft sand and blue skies. Choose to travel to see the ancient Mayan ruins in this region rich with archaeological sites or spend the day browsing this ports unique shops. (B, L, D)
December 11 – Cruising at Sea
Sunbathe, read a book, have a drink, enjoy one of the ships many specialty restaurants or do whatever you like during your last day cruising at sea today. (B, L, D)
December 12 – Disembark / Sikeston, MO
Enjoy one last breakfast on-board the Norwegian Getaway before disembarking back in New Orleans. Meet back up with our deluxe motorcoach to begin to make our way back home, spending the night in Sikeston, MO. (B)
December 13 – Return Home
Enjoy one last day traveling home, reminiscing with your newly made friends about your beautiful Caribbean Cruise Getaway! (B)
