Meet your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver at one of our many convenient pick-up points and head west! Our travels take us to Laramie, WY, our home for the night and where we’ll all enjoy an evening welcome dinner together. (D)

May 31 – Bonneville Salt Flats / West Wendover, NV

Continue west today through Wyoming and across Utah. This afternoon, make a stop to view Utah’s amazing Bonneville Salt Flats, stretching over 30,000 acres and the perfect spot for achieving land speed records! Upon arrival at the Peppermill Hotel & Casino, enjoy an evening meal and an opportunity to try your luck! (B, D)

June 1 – Reno, NV

Today’s drive traverses the entire state of Nevada east-to-west. This afternoon we arrive in Reno – The Biggest Little City in the World – and check-in to our accommodations in the heart of downtown. Our evening meal is a celebration of the Basque culture of Northern Nevada with a family-style dinner at Louis’ Basque Corner Restaurant. (B, D)

June 2 – Lake Tahoe Cruise / Gold Country

After a leisurely morning, continue west to stunning Lake Tahoe. Board the ms Dixie II for a paddlewheel experience of a lifetime across the big blue lake that straddles the borders of Nevada and California. Then, travel along the southern shore of the lake towards California’s Gold Country. Visit a historic mining community and discover some precious stones on your own. Arrive this afternoon in Sacramento, California’s capital city, and your home for the next two nights. (B, L)

June 3 – Napa Valley Wine / Jelly Belly

A short day trip brings you west of Fairfield, home of the delicious confection company called Jelly Belly. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the factory, which produces the only candy President Ronald Reagan kept on his desk in the Oval Office. Continue to Napa, where we’ll visit a local winery to sample the wine that makes Napa Valley one of the world’s most famous wine regions. (B, D) 

June 4 – Sacramento / Yosemite National Park

This morning we enjoy a step-on guided tour of Sacramento, including a visit to the State Capitol, and free time in Old Town Sacremento State Historic Park. This afternoon continue south to the small town of Hilmar, home to Hilmar Cheese. Enjoy a quick tour of the factory and an opportunity grab an ice cream cone before continuing to El Portal, just outside of Yosemite National Park, and our home for the evening. (B)

June 5 – Yosemite National Park

An incredible opportunity to spend the day in stunning Yosemite National Park, a true national treasure! Discover the highlights of Yosemite Valley during a ranger-led guided tour on board an open air tram, providing unobstructed views. You’ll marvel at Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, El Capitan and Tunnel View, all while learning the history, flora and fauna of the park. You’ll also have plenty of free time in Yosemite Village to dine, visit the visitor center and museum. Later this afternoon we head out of the park to Fresno. Tonight, Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater is your host for a fabulous dinner and a toe-tapping musical. (B, D)

June 6 – Bakersfield / Caesar Chavez National Monument

Heading south, discover the community of Bakersfield. “The Bakersfield Sound” is well-known in the history of country music. At the Kern County Museum, learn more about the Bakersfield Sound and the childhood home of country music legend, Merle Haggard. Enjoy lunch together before visiting the Caesar Chavez National Monument, featuring historical exhibits about the labor leader as well as a memorial garden. Continue to the Mojave Desert and our accommodations in Ridgecrest. (B, L, D)

June 7 – Death Valley National Park / Las Vegas

This morning we’re off to Death Valley! Arrive in Furnace Creek, also known as the Death Valley Oasis, in the late morning and free time to explore the visitor center and central hub of the park. Then continue through the park to Badwater – the lowest point in the continental United States – nearly 300 feet below sea level! Turning east, stop for a quick photo at Zabriskie Point before continuing to Las Vegas and the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, our home for the evening, and plenty of free time to try your luck! (B)

June 8 – Canyonlands by Night Jet Boat Trip / Moab, UT

Today’s travels take us through Utah to Moab, the gateway of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. A special evening is planned on our Canyonlands by Night Jet Boat Trip! A cowboy-style Dutch oven dinner precedes our evening boat ride on the Colorado River. The Canyonlands area is unlike any other in the world, making this baot ride one of the most outstanding events you’ll experience. (B, D)

June 9 – Arches National Park / Denver, CO

Today features Arches National Park, home to a landscape and formations unlike any other in the world. Be amazed this morning as we discover some of the 2,000 natural stone arches and giant balanced rocks. This evening finds us in Denver – where we’ll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy Drury’s “Kickback” – where complimentary food and drinks are available. (B, D)

June 10 – Return Home

Spend one last day with your newly made friends and re-live the great memories of the land of silver and gold! Say goodbye to your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver as you arrive back at your initial pick-up points this afternoon and evening. (B)
