August 27 – Jack Stack BBQ / Nebraska vs. Miami (OH) Football at Arrowhead Stadium
It’s Game Day! Meet us at one of our many convenient pick-up points and make our way to Kansas City! Upon arrival we’ll enjoy authentic Kansas City BBQ at Jack Stack BBQ! A local favorite spot, Jack Stack combines elegance with it’s delicious slow-cooked barbeque and famous sweet and thick sauce. After lunch we’ll enjoy a bit of free time at Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza before checking-in to our overnight accommodations. Then, it’s off to Arrowhead Stadium – the home of the four-time World Champion Kansas City Chiefs – to cheer on the Huskers against Miami, OH in this special neutral-site season opener! (L)
August 28 – Return Home
This morning finds us at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, for our own private stadium tour! Here we’ll go behind the scenes at this “Crown Jewel” of ballparks to areas not normally open to the public, including the dugout, interview room and more! Following the tour we’ll enjoy lunch at the ballpark before making our way back home, hopefully celebrating a Nebraska victory! Arrive at your initial pick-up points this afternoon with many fond memories and new friends. (B, L)
