Meet your Moostash Joe Tour Director and Driver at one of our many convenient pick-up points this morning and head east! Sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your fellow travelers today as we make our way to Champaign, IL where we enjoy Drury’s great “Kickback” – where complimentary food and drinks are available. May 18 – Newport, KY / Ohio River Dinner Cruise
Continue east today, arriving in The Bluegrass State early this afternoon. In Newport, we’ll enjoy a guided “gangster” tour before visiting Revival Vintage Spirits for a sip off the tasting menu. As America’s foremost vintage spirits collector, owner Dusty Bonds refers to Revival as a combination of “American Pickers” and “Pawn Stars.” A special evening is planned on the Ohio River aboard BB Riverboats. May 19 – Lexington, KY / Mill Ridge Farm
This morning we head south towards Lexington, famous for its horses. We’ll visit Kentucky Horse Park with time for exploring and enjoy lunch together, as well as visit Mill Ridge Farm near iconic Keeneland Racetrack. Mill Ridge is renonwned for raising and selling first-class thoroughbreds! Dinner this evening is at J Renders, a local favorite spot featuring traditional southern fare. (B, L, D)
May 20 – Louisville, KY / Historic Seelbach Hotel
Today we make our way to Louisville, home of the Kentucky Derby. Here we visit the Frazier History Museum and explore the Louisville Slugger Museum – a must when in town. We’ll check-in to the elegant, historic downtown Seelbach hotel, where we enjoy a welcome reception as well as a brief tour of the property. Dinner and bourbon tasting (a must) is at Uncle Boojie’s Distilling Company in the fun Paristown neighborhood. (B, L, D)
May 21 – Louisville, KY / Churchill Downs
A full day in Louisville awaits! We’ll head to the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience to learn about this famed local spirits maker. And visit the Kentucky Derby Museum, including a walking tour of historic Churchill Downs. Also included is Hatitude – where we’ll create our own Derby hat and enjoy a class on how to place your bets! Listen up as tonight we enjoy live racing at Churchill Downs with dinner on Millionaires Row! (B, L, D)
May 22 – St. Louis, MO / Busch Stadium
This morning we travel west to St. Louis, MO. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch together at Cardinals Nation before our private Busch Stadium Tour and visit to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum! We’ll check in to the nearby Drury Inn & Suites and an opportunity to sit down and enjoy Drury’s great “Kickback.” (B, L, D)
May 23 – Return Home
Spend today reminiscing with your newly made friends about your tour to The Bluegrass State! Say goodbye to your tour director, driver and fellow travelers as you arrive back at your initial pick-up point early this evening. (B)
